Pete Kuempel is a Stand-up comic. Many have even found him to be quite humorous….. So that’s good. Recognized for his cool, dry delivery, Pete enjoys engaging audiences with his sarcastic personal observations and uniquely laid back, deliberate style. Brought up within an ethnically mixed family (His Mother is Mexican and his father is Irish) on Chicago’s South side, much of Pete’s comedy is drawn from life and he attributes a great deal of his wry, street smart disposition to his experiences growing up in the city. Pete has always had a knack for finding the absurdity in life’s frustrations and giving them an amusing twist. In doing so, he has developed a sense of ironic detachment that people find genuinely appealing. Plus, he’s pretty damn funny, and people usually seem to appreciate that. His peculiar perspective and leisurely, yet sharp delivery style have entertained audiences throughout Chicago as well as the Midwest, and he can now be found on a regular basis working the comedy clubs of the New York area and all over the east coast.
