The 2013 Boston Comedy Arts Festival covers 3 stages and features improv, sketch, and stand-up acts.
ImprovBoston is proud to host the festival and offer performance and training opportunities, as well as the chance to nurture creative endeavors and build bonds of friendship.
Five years ago, Will Luera, ImprovBoston Artistic Director, looked around the thriving Boston comedy landscape and noted that a festival was missing. ImprovBoston took up the charge and hosted the first annual Boston Improv Festival (since renamed the Boston Comedy Arts Festival). With the help of the Boston community, it was a huge success and highlighted the supportive Boston comedy community.
Since then, the team behind the festival has evolved and each year the size and scope of the festival has increased. Past festivals have featured acts from Los Angeles, Chicago, Mexico City, Amsterdam, New York, Toronto, Austin, Minneapolis, Seattle, and more!
We welcome you and thank you for your support in making it a success.
