PIN UP
Starting with a simple location inspiration, PIN UP weaves an intricately designed short play in front of the audience’s eyes. Treading lightly between the line of funny and dramatic, PIN UP strives to tell the humor of the real and works to find the lightness within the dark of everyday life. Sometimes heavy and often poignant, PIN UP invites you to join us on our journey and share the story and laughter with us.
PIN UP is Nick Farah and Theresa Ohanian. Performing weekly in Chicago, IL, they have been imagining together for over a year and are pleased to make your acquaintance.
MAMA BEAR: THE BUTTON
Mama Bear is Bobby Smithney and Rachel Klein. Veteran improvisers (IB Mainstage, Harold Night, Face Off, etc.) who love nothing more than playing with each other, Bobby and Rachel bring their years of experience in a variety of styles together to create a unique performance style all their own.
The Button is a Mama Bear signature form. One suggestion inspires an improvised one act play where we meet a couple at the end of their life, then watch them age backward to find out why they are who they are and how they found each other.
G.U.S.
In 2014, the world ended. Three men managed to survive the apocalypse that destroyed mankind by hiding out in a Generic Underground Shelter. Trapped beneath the earth, they are our species' best chance at survival... And it's entirely improvised...
Created, developed, and performed by Nick Carrillo, Langston Belton, and Devin James Heater, G.U.S. is a post-apocalyptic improvised comedy. It explores the relationship between three men who, after an apocalyptic event, have been trapped underground together for weeks, months, or, most likely, years. It premiered at The Factory in 2012 and has since made its home at The People's Improv Theater in New York.
