Coming from New York city, Student Driver calls The Peoples Improv Theatre their home. Student Driver met while taking classes, formed a group. After some 180+ weekly shows, festivals in NYC, Boston, Toronto, Providence, and Baltimore, and a lot of practices, they've built a connection that makes for lively, fast paced shows with few boundaries. For the last four years, Student Driver hosts a weekly show that promotes indie teams by providing a fun venue with a warm crowd. Many local NYC teams have performed their debut show at Student Driver: Indie Road or at the annual July 4th festival Student Driver: Indie-Pendence Day.

High School Drama Club is a house team at The Peoples Improv Theater. These two teams are good friends. They are known for their quirky monoscenes and crazy pop culture references.

Together, these two teams could and probably will take over the world

JOHNNY VELVET AND THE MOONBEAMS
Johnny Velvet and the Moonbeams perform an original format called The Galactus. They explore (and devour) as many character connections in a single world as possible. The shows are brisk, so bring hydration.
